In this modern twist on a classic fairy tale, independent, empowered Cindy moves out of her stepmother and stepsisters’ house in search of a perfect home of her own. On her quest she views unappealing, yet familiar, fairy tale characters’ homes.

I am co-authoring a manuscript with my friend, Annie, who is a Tlinglit, Sioux, and Mohawk Native American. Her mom was born in Alaska and her dad is from Canada. Annie grew up in Brooklyn, just a few blocks from my family on 18th Street.
